Since this month we are talking about Motivation and How to Achieve everything we've set ourselves at the beginning of the year it would be wrong to miss such topic as Growth Mindset.
In many ways your Mindset will determine whether or not you will get what you want or give up without a fight.
Especially when it comes to Growth Mindset.

Let's get practical right away.
❶ Write down:
- What talents do you have?
- What skills?
❷ Then have a look at your plans for this year & assess:
- Are the skills & talents you have enough to achieve what you have planned?
- What other skills do you need to acqure to complete what's in front of you?
- What other talents? Can you cultivate talents?
If you said that you can not develop a talent, more likely your Mindset is Set & Growth will come difficult to you.
If you feel like you don't need to anything new in order to get where you want to be, more likely you've set yourself very safe goals that could be achieved almost tomorrow.
If you know what you need and already working on it - congratulations, you definitely have a Growth Mindset, carry on ❤︎
So what is a Growth Mindset & how to develop one?
In a nutshell it's a strong believe that you can learn anything you need to learn & develop anything that you need to develop...
“Muad'Dib learned rapidly because his first training was in how to learn. And the first lesson of all was the basic trust that he could learn. It's shocking to find how many people do not believe they can learn, and how many more believe learning to be difficult. Muad'Dib knew that every experience carries its lesson.”
✍️ Frank Herbert, Dune
& the best way to develop one is through practice.
Practice Growth Mindset if that's what you want to have.
To help you be more efficient in this pursuit, here are some things you can do already today:
✓ Question your beliefs about talents (yours and in general) & your ability to learn. Is it always true?
✓ Read true stories of successful people (and note how they are called talented now). Note how many of them were simply those who persevered, didn't give up, believed that they can. Even if to begin with no talent was seen in them & nobody else believed...
✓ How many talented people got anywhere in life? Even from those you know personally.
See, the problem with believing in talent is that such a belief closes pretty much every door for you. It stops you from trying, stops you from putting the time in... you simply settle on "it's not for me" - what growth can be here?
Therefore you are left with no other choice, but to do something else. Something less you, less interesting, less fulfilling...
And that's how we loose big time. I'm sure you've heard what most people regret on their death bed...
So ask yourself, where are you lacking the Growth Mindset today and start questioning your thoughts and actions in that area, like your Life depends on it.
Until the next time,
